While studying reactions between materials I stumbled into a series of ice bergs as a representation of myself. There's so much to who we are that the rest of the world doesn't see, hidden below the surface. I'm grateful to those who, like the viewer, see and appreciate all of me.

Much of the glass I use has a past from right here is Austin, TX. The glass used is collected from local wine hot spots, wineries, and locals.

Art glass is created as beautifully large sheets with organic looking rolled edges. This series layers those organically shaped and gorgeously hued edge pieces into abstract landscapes, marrying nature and art once again.

This started as a project to replace the plates my family has been using for the past ten years. Then, as all art seems to, it grew. Inspiration and experimentation begat plate after plate until this series was born.
